Gel Ice
Gel Ice is available in a variety of bag sizes and product weights. It is a substitute for wet ice and is used to help maintain the temperature of fresh and frozen shipments. It takes 24 hours to freeze and blast freeze is best, laid out on boards. Gel ice lasts 24-36 hours if undisturbed in a styrofoam cooler.
